Although you won’t find the entire root in the United States, you will find it imported dried in the form of a powder or supplement. Many women add maca root powder to their smoothies, oatmeal and other meals to incorporate it into their diet. Maca root is packed with potassium and rich in vitamin C, iron, copper and other nutrients. The recommended dosage for maca is 1.5 -5 grams. Reduces menopausal symptoms
