There is a huge misconception about how women should clean their jewels, and it’s important that we spread the correct information. Without this proper education on how to clean the vulva, young ladies are prone to using harmful products. These harmful products have the potential to cause infection, eliminating the good bacteria we need to maintain a healthy pH level which is slightly acidic. Because the environment is slightly acidic, it’s difficult for bad bacteria to infiltrate our vagina’s pH.
Nope, it’s not a good idea to wash inside of the vagina. The inside of your jewel is a self-cleaning oven. It knows what substances to push out of it, which is why we experience discharge; This is normal. Although, you should be cleaning your vulva.

Are ladies supposed to be using soap on their vulvas? The answer is no. There really isn’t a need to use soap on your vulva. To maintain a healthy vulva, water will suffice. However, if you are going to use soap it needs to be a non-fragrant, mild soap.
To clean the vulva, use warm water and spread the labia lips apart and rinse around the folds and creases. Wash the anus area and in between the anus and the vulva every day. According to Healthline, it’s important to wash front to back to avoid spreading bacteria from the anus that could cause infection.
